Qingdao Rain Club: A Unique Cultural OasisAn Oriental-inspired entertainment space that combines luxury and history
As a supporting entertainment space of Sheraton, the Qingdao Rain Club not only continues the hotel's design technique but also adds a rich cultural connotation. Designed by Kai Huang, this project draws inspiration from 14 ancient cities with Oriental charm, using each flower as a symbol to create a unique cultural oasis.
The Qingdao Rain Club stands out from other similar projects by showcasing the extensive history and eternal spirit of Oriental culture. The overall design adopts a Neo-Oriental ART DECO style, depicting oriental-themed peacocks and boas using natural marbles and brushed stainless steels in the public space. This combination creates a luxurious and atmospheric ambiance that captivates visitors.
The design of the Qingdao Rain Club is a testament to the meticulous craftsmanship and attention to detail. The use of tawny glass, Fritillaria, and mosaic decorations further enhances the overall grandeur and modernity of the space. The result is a magnificent world that seamlessly blends tradition and contemporary design.
Visitors to the Rain Club will be transported to a bygone era, surrounded by blossoming flowers that were once only found in the pages of history. Each private room in the club is uniquely designed, presenting a different aspect of Oriental culture. From hand-painted wallpapers to stained-glass windows, every detail has been carefully curated to create a space that is both authentic and enchanting.
The design process for the Qingdao Rain Club was not without its challenges. Given its positioning as a super five-star entertainment club, the overall design cycle took over two months, with construction lasting an additional three months. The restoration of the concept required a delicate balance between luxury and cultural elements, resulting in a space that exudes both opulence and historical significance.
The Qingdao Rain Club, with its Oriental-inspired design and unique cultural elements, has garnered international attention and acclaim.
